Bushnell Pro 1600 Range Finder Reviews
As far as reviews go, the Bushnell Pro 1600 Golf Laser Rangefinder has been receiving a lot of raves from professional and amateur golfers alike. The range finder is extremely fast, which helps the golfer decide on the right swing in seconds. A lot of users agree on how easy it is to use the product. This is not surprising, since the device only has two buttons. Not to mention that the product works flawlessly. The pinseeker mode is also one of the strongest features, allowing the golfer to know exactly the coordinates of the pin. Using this special feature, both the golfer’s short-game and long-game are vastly improved. And they can’t emphasize how easy it is to carry it around. And knowing that the change abrupt in weather can affect a golfer’s game, much has also been said about it waterproof features.
There are a few drawbacks that should be considered before you buy the product. Some reviewers noted that the Bushnell range finder is too bulk. Most people don’t mind the extra weight though since there is a carrying case that goes with it. The product is a bit expensive as well, but at least the many features that the product boasts more than make up for it.
The Bushnell Pro 1600 Golf Laser Range Finder is a top-of-the-line rangefinder that delivers on many fronts. Its weight and price can be daunting for some, but these few negatives are far outweighed by the product’s impressive amount of features.

Leupold GX-1 Laser Range Finder Reviews
The reviews for Leupold GX-1 golf range finder are mostly positive. Many reviewers say that the device is perfect. Crystal clear and accurate, it’s lowered the strokes big time. It is almost instantaneous, where the V2 won’t display the range for what seems like a couple of seconds. That may not sound like much but it seems like an eternity when you just want to shoot the flag and get on with your shot. The Leupold range finder does these in spades.
The Leupold range finder has a very rugged, rubberized feel that simply feels good in your hands. Just holding it, you know you’re holding quality, and not something made of inferior plastic that will likely not look the same in six months of normal, let alone rugged, use. It has seven different reticles from which to choose. You can be comfortable with the default reticle setting, but for those who are not, there are six other available reticles. As opposed to the V2, the reticles on the Leupold GX1 are very fine in detail; more professionally displayed would be a way to describe them. It’s nice and does everything you would expect it to. The advantage to this scope is that you don’t pay an annual fee, and you can shoot at virtually anything and get an accurate reading.
However, a very few number of users were disappointed because it would give them false readings. The fog mode stays on and you can’t get it off even if you try holding both power and mode for 20 seconds which is supposed to restore it to the factory setting. It is difficult to get an accurate distance when aiming at the pin, even when there are little prism devices in the pole. When there are no prism devices, it is a crap shoot and trusting the distance the range finder gives is a matter of horse sense instead of trusting the measurement it gives you.
Leupold GX-1 laser rangefinder got a very high mark in online reviews at average of 4.6 stars out of 5 stars. Few users were dissatisfied with it, but the vast majority of users were very impressed by its accuracy and performance. Our team believes that this is an excellent range finder.

Nikon ProStaff 550 Laser Rangefinder Review
Nikon ProStaff 550 Laser Rangefinder makes it easier than ever to range small objects such as fence posts, and provides absolute precision. It utilizes Nikon’s advanced Tru-Target ranging system that allows users to prioritize smaller and harder-to-range lone targets with just a push of a button. The Nikon ProStaff 550 also counts on Nikon’s advanced ID technology to compensate for different incline or decline shooting angles, even up to plus/minus 89 degrees.
You will benefit from speedy ½-yard accuracy within 99.5 yards, and 1-yard accuracy from 100 – 550 yards with the Nikon’s digital measurement processor. You are not limited to long-distance targets only as this Nikon rangefinder can range as close as 11 yards on the spectrum’s other end.
The Nikon ProStaff 550 also features 6x multicoated optics, continuous measurement mode, measurement of up to 733 yards and 100 % fog-proof and waterproof construction. It is a comfortable and efficient rangefinder which leaves its competitors behind.

Nikon ProStaff 550 Laser Range Finder Reviews
Our research team was able to gather 48 online reviews which are quite mixed forNikon ProStaff 550 Laser Rangefinder. The satisfied users believe that this is a bargain golf range finder. The 6x optics is clean, crisp, and clear.
The diopter may be adjusted so that the unit can be used without glasses. It just works as expected and it detects range faster and higher success rates compared to other rangefinder and this is even smaller and lighter. The 6x optics is good for 100 – 200 yards. The 8x optics would probably wobble too much.
The Nikon ProStaff 550 works just as the company specs state and also very easy to operate. Just point at an object press the button and it tells you how far away it is within a tenth of a yard.
It does not have all the bells and whistles like the more expensive ARC mode, bow mode, this mode, that mode, Bushnell has. Bushnell makes fine optics but so does this model rangefinder at almost half the cost.
Some users find design flaws with this range finder. The Nikon ProStaff 550 is light and small and very difficult to hold still enough to get a reading on the target, usually a flag. It also reports the distance to objects behind the green/flag if it couldn’t be held steadily on the target. When trying to determine the distance to the pin on a green, the rangefinder would instead focus on a tree behind the pin and give false readings.
The Nikon ProStaff 550 rangefinder received an average rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars in online reviews. Just like any other product, this laser range finder has design faults. However, these flaws are outweighed by its good features and affordable price, so we are recommending it.

Bushnell Tour V2 Laser Rangefinder Reviews
We found 82 online reviews which are mostly positive for Bushnell Tour V2 Laser Rangefinder. It does everything Bushnell claims. It’s very easy to use and the Pinseeker mode works perfectly. It never gave an incorrect reading. It’s lightweight and just tucks into one of my golf bag pockets. In less than 30 seconds, it gives distance readout and makes a club decision. It’s much faster than trying to figure out the distance or stepping off distances from markers on the course. When you select a club, it’s nice to actually know the distance to the flag and it’s useful to check distance to hazards, creeks, etc. The optics is very good. It is easy to focus and doesn’t require real steady hands to find the pin and get a distance measurement. Also, the small size and clip on case.
The Pinseeker feature works great, too. To get a reading on a flag, simply scan back and forth across the flag itself, and the rangefinder will show you the closest reading it gets, which is almost always the distance to the pin. It’s easy to get distance to hazards, also, using the pinseeker setting, but if you have trouble reading a certain object for some reason, you can switch off pinseeker, and use the golf range finder in scan mode, getting continuously updated distances to everything the laser sweeps across.
However, 2 of the 72 reviewers expressed disgust on Bushnell Tour V2’s LCD display. One user complained that the ten digits on the distance read-out is only displaying half of the LCD character for the number after 4 months of using it, and another user had the same problem right out of the box. For distances under 100 yards it’s impossible to guess the range. A new battery doesn’t resolve this problem. One user also complained that the infomercial makes it look like a breeze to use, but it is not. A flag that is far away from you looks small in the eyepiece. If the wind is blowing, it is even harder to get it in the little circle for a measurement. If you are not leaning against something solid you will not be able to keep the circle from moving around.
Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder got a high rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 stars from its 72 users who participated in online reviews. Although 2 users have bad experience on its LCD display and 1 user finds it not so easy to use, majority of the reviewers appreciate the product’s overall performance. We believe that this Bushnell range finder is a very helpful device for golfers.

Wildgame Innovations Halo Range Finder Reviews
The Halo rangefinder has 8 online reviews which are quite mixed. Some pleased reviewers think that this product is good. It reads all the way down to 5 yards although the box says 10 yards, and it reads all the way up to 400 yards or 500 yards if it’s a very reflective surface. It is accurate to +/- 1 yard which is what it does. It reads distance and so far with has been doing it accurately. This is a good, basic range finder for the price. It’s accurate and simple enough to use without opening the manual. It is very small to the point of being hard to handle if you have larger hands. Battery life has been good and it computes yards really fast. If you measure off yardage in back yard with tape measure and check, you will find that it is dead on.
On the other hand, some users experienced inconveniences with the Wild game Innovations Halo rangefinder. The display is hard to see and it ranges distance within +or- 4 yards within 30 yards. You put the battery that’s included, and the visual display looking through the eyepiece on the rangefinder shows that the battery is less than half-charged. When you could actually make the Wildgame Innovations range finder read an object, it’s so far off that it’s ridiculous.
Wildgame Innovations Halo Laser Range Finder got an average rating of 3.3 out of 5 stars. This is a very basic range finder so don’t expect all kinds of bells and whistles. All in all, this is a basic range finder for the price. We suggest you try to look for another more reliable product.
